Helping the Helpers.
Mental Health Support for Frontline Professionals.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to make high-quality care and restoration accessible to those who dedicate their lives to serving others. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners, most of our services are offered on a sliding scale made possible through fundraising we do. This means that the cost of counseling, intensives, or retreats is adjusted based on each person’s financial situation—so no one is turned away because of cost.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to create a community where those who dedicate their lives to helping others are supported, valued, and emotionally well, ensuring that their care for vulnerable populations is sustainable and deeply impactful. We believe that healing communities starts with healing the helpers, and we are committed to building a movement that transforms the way frontline professionals are supported in their work.
HOW IT WORKS
Every dollar raised goes directly toward reducing the financial burden for those working in social work, foster care, nonprofit service, and other healing professions, allowing them to receive the same care and restoration they so often provide to others.
If you’re interested in applying for financial assistance, you can complete a short application here or contact us directly to speak with a member of our team. We’ll review your request with care and confidentiality to determine the level of support available and help you find the right services for your needs.
OUR FOUNDERS
Laura Williams, LPC-MHSP and Ashley Dunn, LPC-MHSP are the co-founders of Be Found Counseling and Be Found Nonprofit — two branches of the same calling: to create spaces where people can experience safety, healing, and belonging.
Their partnership began long before Be Found had a name. What started as two therapists connecting over shared values and similar stories soon became a friendship rooted in authenticity, laughter, and a deep belief that healing is both sacred and relational.
Before entering private practice, both Laura and Ashley spent years serving on the front lines of care — walking daily with individuals and families in some of life’s most challenging circumstances.
